Operation Christmas Child Collection Week

Operation Christmas Child Collection Week

We have a great opportunity this Christmas season to live generously and spread the Gospel by packing a shoebox. A small shoebox can have a big impact. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out of it is eternal. Be a part of changing children’s lives all over the world in Jesus' Name through the power of a simple gift with Operation Christmas Child.  Pick up your shoe boxes and a list of what to pack and what not to pack at Shorebreak (note: no toothpaste or candy is allowed anymore). Bring them back between Sunday, Nov. 12 and Sunday, Nov. 18 ready to be shipped. A $9 donation is encouraged to help pay for postage. Or you can donate online at samaritanspurse.org and track your box!

Join the A/V/L Team!

The A/V/L Team comes alongside the Worship Team to engage the congregation in worship with limited technical distraction.  We have lighting and slide presentation positions available.

We are looking for a commitment of serving 2 times a month at both services. No experience necessary for lighting.  Strong computer skills and attention to detail is needed for slides presentation, but we can train you on the software.

Sound Tech: If you are a sound engineer or musician, with a good to basic understand of either DAW Controls, Editing Software, or Digital Mixers we would love to get you plugged in.

Baptism

Baptism is a visual expression of our faith as we connect with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. When we are baptized, we are publicly declaring what God the Holy Spirit, through the work of God the Son has done and is doing internally in the life of a believer. If you confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and have not been baptized, we invite you to find out more about this important step as a believer and sign up for our next baptism. To find out more, contact aloha@shorebreakchurch.com or fill out a connect form HERE.

The Trinity exists in perfect community and love. Woman's Gathering | Sermon on the Mount

Woman's Gathering | Sermon on the Mount

What does it mean to be a citizen of the kingdom of Heaven? Matthew’s gospel opens with three chapters containing Jesus’ longest recorded message – a sermon given to His disciples early in His ministry to articulate what the life of a Christ-follower would look like.
